Identification of organizational issues and opportunities:  what, where and how much.  We work with our clients to design the most appropriate method for assessing their organization.  Often a combination of qualitative and quantitative techniques are used to broadly identify issues and opportunities and then articulate underlying dynamics.  This approach leads to a clear understanding of organizational strengths and areas for concern.

Development of strategies and tactics that resolve issues and capitalize on opportunities.  We work with client teams to fully interpret assessment results and translate them into prioritized actions.  Together with the team we design an overall game plan that is integrated with on-going operations and has an appropriate level of visibility and accountabilities.  We then serve as a catalyst to assure the momentum of the effort and help drive it toward concrete results within the shortest possible time frame.

A leading cable company with a strong and unusual business culture was considering replacing some of its home grown practices with some “best practices”. The COO wanted an independent assessment of how well their existing operating processes were working, what might need to be changed and where changes would generate the greatest payoff. We provided an assessment that reinforced the continuing use of many of their existing practices and isolated just a few areas where relatively minor changes were warranted.

An engineered materials company had both performance and morale issues. We conducted an organizational assessment that pinpointed communications and operational issues. The leadership team used the assessment results to implement a feedback and improvement process which launched eight action teams that put 19 important changes in place within 30 days.
